Susie Beltran Grimm serves the Director of Early Learning at PBS SoCal. In her role, Susie executes the organization’s early learning vision through intentional partnerships, content, and program creation. She has helped address the needs of communities with engaging educational content and enhanced the agency’s awareness and service knowledge while building, sustaining, and expanding mutually beneficial relationships between PBS SoCal and the Southern California community. Susie also connects PBS KIDS programs and educational learning activities to families, educators, and kids throughout Southern California, ensuring high-quality programs and best practices in early childhood education throughout the agency. Susie has also experience designing family engagement curricula and digital content. Susie previously managed the Parent Institute for Quality Education parent engagement education programs in Orange County. Susie has a Bachelor’s degree in Asian American Studies and a minor in Applied Psychology in Education from the University of California, Santa Barbara. She holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration from California State University, Long Beach. She is pursuing a Doctor of Education in Learning Technologies with a focus on STEM Family Engagement at Pepperdine University.
